Job Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

  • Prepare and book journal entries and execute month-end close related task
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and/or monthly account analyses and reconciliations
  • Conduct research of reconciling items and associated resolution
  • Review of accounting guidance (US GAAP) and proper application for relevant business transactions
  • Maintain documentation and supporting schedules for assigned tasks and accounts
  • Prepare and send business reports to various internal users including management and executive leadership
  • Partner with other Finance stakeholders to assist in the development of annual business plans and quarterly forecasts
  • Support annual internal and external audit processes
  • Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements
  • Act in compliance with all internal financial controls, upholding a high-level of ethical standards
  • Participate in business initiatives and special projects
  • Other projects or duties as assigned

Office Position Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and 2 plus years of accounting related experience inclusive of internship experience or HS Diploma/GED and 5 plus years of accounting experience inclusive of internship experience
  • Detailed oriented and process-oriented mindset
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to interact with all levels of the organization including executive leadership
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions using sound judgement
  • Ability to consult with leaders as needed
  • Strong teamwork skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft office applications
  • Ability to efficiently learn accounting ERP systems
  • Up to 10% travel as needed
  • This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test
