Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
- Prepare and book journal entries and execute month-end close related task
- Prepare daily, weekly, and/or monthly account analyses and reconciliations
- Conduct research of reconciling items and associated resolution
- Review of accounting guidance (US GAAP) and proper application for relevant business transactions
- Maintain documentation and supporting schedules for assigned tasks and accounts
- Prepare and send business reports to various internal users including management and executive leadership
- Partner with other Finance stakeholders to assist in the development of annual business plans and quarterly forecasts
- Support annual internal and external audit processes
- Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements
- Act in compliance with all internal financial controls, upholding a high-level of ethical standards
- Participate in business initiatives and special projects
- Other projects or duties as assigned
Office Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and 2 plus years of accounting related experience inclusive of internship experience or HS Diploma/GED and 5 plus years of accounting experience inclusive of internship experience
- Detailed oriented and process-oriented mindset
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to interact with all levels of the organization including executive leadership
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work independently and make decisions using sound judgement
- Ability to consult with leaders as needed
- Strong teamwork skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft office applications
- Ability to efficiently learn accounting ERP systems
- Up to 10% travel as needed
- This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test
